Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to PintarPrep. PintarPrep is operated by NetAI Sdn Bhd (1431413-D) ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PintarPrep platform, including our website, applications and all related educational services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PintarPrep is an online learning platform for Malaysian primary and secondary school students. It provides syllabus notes, practice exercises, exams, automatic and AI-assisted marking, progress reports, and tools for teachers and guardians.

The Service is designed to supplement, not replace, the teaching provided by schools and other educational institutions. Our content follows the national curriculum, but there are many ways to teach it, and including one method does not mean we endorse it over others.

Subscribing to or using the Service does not guarantee any result, including passing an exam, achieving a particular grade or mark, or admission to any school or institution.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

To use most of the Service you must create an account. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account, and you must tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.

You may create an account and purchase a subscription at any age. If you are under 18, you may do so only with the permission of your parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Terms on your behalf and authorise any payment made. By registering or subscribing as a student under 18, you confirm that you have that permission, and the parent or guardian who gave it is responsible for the subscription. A parent or legal guardian may also create and pay for an account for their child; by doing so, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and are at least 18 years old.

An account is for one person. An account can be signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs out the previous one, and an exam in progress on that device is paused until it is resumed from the device now signed in.

4. Free Trial

Each student may have one free trial of 7 days. No payment card is needed, and nothing is charged when it ends. During the trial a student may answer up to 10 multiple-choice questions and 2 other questions (essay, short answer or fill-in-the-blank) each day, the day running from midnight Malaysia time. When the trial ends, access stops until a subscription is bought. We may change or withdraw the trial offer at any time; a trial already started is not affected.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are shown before you buy, are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and recur monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. A guardian buys a separate subscription for each child.

Each plan includes a daily allowance of AI-marked answers: 25 a day on Basic, 50 on Standard and 100 on Advance, counting essay, short-answer and fill-in-the-blank answers. Multiple-choice answers are marked automatically and do not count. The day runs from midnight Malaysia time. Answers beyond the allowance are not marked wrong: they wait to be marked by a teacher, or by the AI once the allowance resets.

You may move to a higher plan or a longer billing period at any time; the difference for the rest of the current period is charged immediately, and if that charge fails your plan stays as it was. Moving to a lower plan or a shorter period is not offered.

If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days. If it still cannot be collected, your access may be suspended and the subscription may end. We may change our prices; a new price applies from your next renewal after we have told you about it, and you may cancel before then.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. You can undo a cancellation free of charge until that date.

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial use of the Service, dissatisfaction with the content, early cancellation, or the suspension or termination of your account for breaking these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

7. AI Features

Some answers are marked, and some explanations and notes are drafted, by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes: a mark, piece of feedback or explanation may be wrong. Treat them as guidance, not as an official assessment. A teacher's mark always replaces the AI's. If you think an AI mark is wrong, tell your teacher or contact us.

8. Educational Content

We work to keep our content accurate and up to date, but errors can occur. The content is for general learning purposes, is provided "as is", and should not be treated as a substitute for professional academic advice, tutoring or formal education. We may add, change, correct or remove content at any time. Please tell us about any error you find.

9. Your Content

You keep ownership of what you write or upload on the Service, such as answers, drawings, discussion posts and profile photos ("your content"). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run the Service: for example, to show your answers to your teachers and guardians, and to send them to our AI providers for marking. Your content is not published to the public. You must not upload content that you have no right to share, that infringes anyone's rights, or that is unlawful, abusive or harmful. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any law or regulation.
• Copy, distribute, modify or create works based on content from the Service without our prior written consent.
• Share your sign-in details or let more than one person use an account.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the Service, get around any security or access control, or access parts of it that are not meant for you.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading it or introducing malicious code.
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service without our permission.

11. Intellectual Property

Apart from your content, all content, materials, features and functionality of the Service — including text, questions, notes, graphics, logos, images, audio, video and software — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them solely for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not use our name, logo or other brand features without our written permission.

12. Copyright Complaints

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: your name and contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the material is on the Service (a link is best); a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We will review valid notices, remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

13. Disclaimers and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for loss of data or harm to your device resulting from your use of the Service.

If anyone brings a claim against us arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or the use of your account, you agree to compensate us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs, to the extent the law allows.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our officers, directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or connected with your use of the Service or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or acted in a way that harms the Service, other users or us. When access ends, your right to use the Service stops immediately, and no refund is given for any unused part of a subscription.

16. Communications

We will send you messages that are part of the Service, such as verification codes, receipts, subscription and trial reminders, and important account notices; these cannot be switched off while you have an account. We will send promotional messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you may stop them at any time by contacting us.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Service with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the Service before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

19. General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it. These Terms are available in English and Malay; if the two differ, the English version prevails.
